MMORPGS

The last one I played was star trek online, I got about as far as the away team mission against the borg ,an early part of the game that was probably still a tutorial. After that I was done, I knew early on that my experience would be but a pale comparison to the actual star trek genre. I was already duped by star wars galaxies when I found out the promised trench run would never happen. A recent MMORPG I played was deadfrontier, which is a zombie apocalypse MMORPG. That game gets it right, despite being a game that takes place at night, à la eternal and perpetual night (redunancy alert), but it's always RAINING. No power, constant night and non stop rain on top of billions of zombies? yeah, that's a level of hell if there ever was one. Point is, mmorpgs in my opinion shouldn't be about living an entire life online, they should be about sandbox slugfest. Who wants to play a game involving the same mind numbing ,soul crushing mundane task you have to do everyday to make money to be able to play a game doing the same shit?
